How do you change the header to the color purple.

I am trying to change the color of the header brackets to purple.

  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">

Hi Vygandas,

Looks like you're trying to add some inline style to your header tag. The syntax you are looking for is

<h1 style="color: #800080">Welcome to My Web Page!</h1>

If you are instead trying to style your header through the use of a separate CSS file you would instead use

h1 {
    color: purple;
}

For both of these options, make sure you delete the <color=#800080> you have written in your markup.
