How do you do this?

how do you store a return value of a variable inside of another variable?

script.js
function getYear(){
  var year = new Date().getFullYear();
  return year;
}

getYear();
var yearToday = year;

Hiya Duo! You coded your function "getYear()" correct. And in the next steps, you need to call the function and store it in a variable called "yearToday". Here is my code:

function getYear() {
  var year = new Date().getFullYear();
  return year;
}

var yearToday = getYear();
