How do you generate two lines of ruby text?

How do you create text on two separate lines in Ruby console?

"\n" Is this what what you mean with the new line escape character? I'm still trying to learn Ruby myself.

I actually found the answer. With Ruby you have to be very precise. So you must tell Ruby to put code on two separate lines. i.e.

  1. name = "Chris"
  2. puts = "Hello"
  3. puts name

This should work to produce:

Hello Chris
