How do you get the paragraph elements to change color in the code challenge?

The 2nd task in the code challenge asks to make the paragraph elements black using hex. I wrote out the following code which works in Workspaces, but not the challenge. What am I doing wrong?

p { color: #111; }

(the above is on three separate lines)

I've also typed out the full hex for black, #111111;

Close your browser, Delete you cache and try the challenge again.
