tldr: font-size: 0.9em;

To set a font size, or any style with css, you just name what it is you wish to change and then tell it how you want it to change.

So in this case "font-size: 0.9em;" this needs to be nested in the css selector that you need to make the font-size slightly smaller than its inherited value from its parents.

"font-size:" is the value you wish to target and change, most css values explain what they do. and the next part of this is what you want to change it too. so here its is "0.9em" hopefully this makes sense
