How hard is it to get a front-end job if all I know is HTML, CSS, and JavaScript?

How hard is it to get a front-end job if all I know is HTML, CSS, and JavaScript? I also know how to do some Photoshop and Illustrator but by no means great at it.

I believe that passion and drive go a long way. If you apply for jobs and demonstrate your enthusiasm to learn you will find something. Don’t stop learning, keep networking and you will find a good opportunity.

Hi,

I recently got a junior dev job because of the knowledge I learned from treehouse.

My best advice would be to go on the job adverts for junior devs and see what they're asking and try to learn that.

I tried Robert Half in DC, and they told me that they do not entertain newbies.

Have you tried Indeed.com?

Yeah I look on Indeed.com often, job postings just look so intimidating. Huge amount of requirements, frameworks, and side langs, how could some one keep up with that? HTML CSS and Basic JavaScript is all I know so far, and I'm hurting for a job badly.

It's scary when you see all of those job listings, however all you have to do it seems like is learn more javascript and then learn a couple of frameworks such as jquery and reactjs for front end development. This should be enough to get you a junior dev job. TBH you don't even need reactjs, the main thing is a passion to learn and side projects that showcases your skill.
