how the extend function will be used?

how will this code will work with extend?

lists.py 
the_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]

# Your code goes below here
the_list.pop(3)
the_list.insert(0,1)
the_list.remove("a")
the_list.remove(False)
del the_list[3]
the_list.extend()

In the code you posted above, the extend function will do nothing! Just with the functions above it, you have to give it a parameter for it to do its thing. Pass it an iterable (eg, a list), and it will tack what you pass it onto the end of iterable you've called it on.

list_1 = [1, 2, 3]

list_1.extend([4, 5, 6])

print(list_1)

... will print out [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
