how to add image here to the folder

inside the footer element I am adding <a> tag to get images recalled from the code is this what the question is or its asking about the physical copy of image folder to the workspace

Hey, If I correctly understood the question, then you can use the image on the page as many times as you need, using single image file, that located in your image folder. (twitter-wrap.png in img folder) and in the challenge you need add alt text and another image facebook-wrap.png.

Hey there,

the way you added the image was correct, however you forgot to close your opening a tag and to open your img tag. So you have to nest your img tag inside of your anchor tag. Also, like Alexander already mentioned, you have to add the facebook-wrap.png the same way you added the Twitter logo and don't forget to give both an appropriate alt attribute.

This is a working example:

    <footer>
      <a><img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt="Twitter Logo"></a>
      <a><img src="img/facebook-wrap.png" alt="Facebook Logo"></a>
      <p>&copy; 2013 Nick Pettit.</p>
    </footer>

an anchor tag would actually be 

<a href="#"><img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt="Twitter Logo"></a>

But that's not needed here as the quiz states not to link to them yet. From your code above try

    <footer>
      <img src="img/twitter-wrap.png" alt="Twitter">
      <p>&copy; 2013 Nick Pettit.</p>
    </footer>
