How to add # in between id and last name

I'm being asked to make the string= '23188XTR#SMITH', I have written

var id= '23188xtr"; var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id + "#" + lastName.toUpperCase();

app.js
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id + '#' + lastName.toUpperCase();

You are adding the "#" correctly, just make sure you add the toUpperCase() to id as well!
