how to break available string

I have watched this 3 times and don't understand how to do it. Please help

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"

The challenge gives you some pretty good hints itself, where it says: "Use .split() to break the available string apart on the semi-colons (;). Assign this to a new variable sundaes."

There is an example of the split function at about 2:25 in the Splitting and Joining video.

So, following the challenge instructions and using the video example, you'd get something like...
