How to create a child class?

It may be a simple question, but I couldn't pass task 1. Here is the code I added :

class Trout extends Fish {
  function getInfo() {
  }
}

Thank You

fish.php
<?php

class Fish
{
    public $common_name;
    public $flavor;
    public $record_weight;

    function __construct($name, $flavor, $record){
        $this->common_name = $name;
        $this->flavor = $flavor;
        $this->record_weight = $record;
    }

    public function getInfo() {
        $output  = "The {$this->common_name} is an awesome fish. ";
        $output .= "It is very {$this->flavor} when eaten. ";
        $output .= "Currently the world record {$this->common_name} weighed {$this->record_weight}.";
        return $output;
    }

  class Trout extends Fish {

    function getInfo() {

    }
}
}

?>

Is your Trout class supposed to be nested inside the Fish class? I think you want to close Fish first:

<?php

class Fish
{
    public $common_name;
    public $flavor;
    public $record_weight;

    function __construct($name, $flavor, $record){
        $this->common_name = $name;
        $this->flavor = $flavor;
        $this->record_weight = $record;
    }

    public function getInfo() {
        $output  = "The {$this->common_name} is an awesome fish. ";
        $output .= "It is very {$this->flavor} when eaten. ";
        $output .= "Currently the world record {$this->common_name} weighed {$this->record_weight}.";
        return $output;
    }
} /* closes the Fish class */

/* then open Trout */
class Trout extends Fish {
    public function getInfo() {

    }
}

?>

EDIT: updated the above code w/ Jeremy's recommendation

Can you be more specific where should I keep the <pre>public</pre> keyword. I tried to place in front of class Trout. But didn't work.
