how to do this

how do you make part of a string bold in android for example: address: 123 Marvin street

how do I make the word address bold?

1 Answer

You could use separate TextViews for the title of the data and the data you want to display. That way you could have something like:

@Bind(R.id.addressTitle) TextView addressTitleTextView;
addressTitleTextView.setTypeface(addressTitleTextView.getTypeface(), Typeface.BOLD);

or if you prefer, in the raw XML

<TextView android:textStyle="bold">

Thank you, i'll give it a try
