I can't figure out what I am doing wrong (i have tried adding a ; to the end of $name; and taking it out (as seen) Nothing is working. Thanks!!

12,663 PointsIt may be the case that your variables cannot be seen by all areas of the code as they are out of scope. Instead of having <?php ?> twice, have one <?php ?> statement and put all the code in there - with that missing semicolon.
