Hi dachi

format is a method of the string class, so you can call it with the . operator. see example below.

# say my store opens at 9am

# so i could say something like

open = 9

subject = "My store opens at {} am".format(open) # the {} is a placeholder for the value you want to insert into a string

print(subject) # this will print    My store opens at 9 am
