how to get Startbootstrap onepage to wordpress nav menu to work correctly?

I've followed your lesson "creating bootstrap navigation in wordpress" and I'm now trying to do the same with a different bootstrap theme "startbootstrap-creative" a one page theme. After moving the navigation into wordpress via dashboard the nav links still work but the JS animation easing inout no longer works. How do I correct this issue?
