var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
while (secret.toLowerCase() !== 'sesame') {
alert("You don't know the secret password. Please try again.");
secret = prompt('What is the secret password?');
}
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");
It worked for me.

You just have basically to update the secret variable on each loop iteration by asking for a new prompt from the user.
Try this for example:
var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
while(secret !== 'sesame'){
document.write("wrong answer");
secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
}
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");
I hope you'll understand, feel free to ask for more explanations if not!
