How to make a update for your wordpress theme

Hi, how do you make a update for your wordpress theme? I made some extra tweaks on it but how do i make it to a update?

Hi Mike,

Can you clarify a bit on what you mean by update? Did you make your own custom theme and you are trying to make/push updates to it? or did you download/install one and make custom adjustments/changes and now that theme needs to be updated?
