How to make this app on iPad

I'm trying to code this app on iPad but I'm stuck with the UISplitViewController instead of the segue used in the video. Need some help to communicate the row selected in the master view to the detail view thx

I think you can just use the didSelectRowAtIndexPath method and set the information for the other view there. Shouldn't need a segue or anything if I remember correctly.
