How to recover the an accidental delete of my workspace file?

I am working on the web design track and was at the point of early point of creating a new css file or folder in the video instruction and I accidentally deleted my index.html file. Is there a way to retrieve all this work?

Hi,

cmd + z can be used to get a recent delete back while typing.

Thanks Philip!

Hi Joseph!

As far as I'm aware there is no way of you getting back your html file! Just quickly re-type out all of the code you had previously and you can begin learning again!

A quick tip would be to take a back-up of all your workspace files after you have finished learning for the day just incase you accidentally lose anything again!

Thanks Luke! I will figure out the back-up method. Best, -Joe

why isn't there a copy of the complete workspace tutorial of "how to build a website"? It's almost impossible for me to quickly rewrite all that code without being able to see it finished. A warning on backing up workspace would have been nice at the beginning as well. I now have to literally redo the entire program from the beginning to get back what I lost because there is no warning about easily deleting index.html in order to create CSS folder and switch over to it. PLEASE work on making screen shot of complete code for each badge step
