Ruby Ruby Operators and Control Structures Ruby Control Structures Else challenge

How to set a variable to be true for one situation and false for another

I don't think the video showed how to do this

ruby.rb
car_speed = 55
speed_limit = 60

too_fast = (car_speed > speed_limit)
if (car_speed < speed_limit)
  too_fast = "false"

1 Answer

You can use an else statement to set too_fast to true.

if conditional
      do something
else
      do something else
end
