How to store the value of text input without using "getElementsByTagName" and "querySelector".

Not able to understand this quiz. Are we suppose to assign the reference of the Tag - input or only the value of the input.

Well in this case you can select the element in many ways since it's the only one of it's kind in the document. I simply referenced it through the id, then extracted the value directly with .value appended to the end of whatever selector you use.
