So close!! It doesn't like the lack of a space between the + and lastName:

You have:

var userName = id.toUpperCase() + '#' +lastName.toUpperCase();

It will accept

var userName = id.toUpperCase() + '#' + lastName.toUpperCase();

Hey Eugene,

Try doing a search before asking any questions. This as well as others have been discussed a zillion times already.

To add to jcorum's answer — it's more DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) to code it this way:

var userName = (id + '#' + lastName).toUpperCase();
