How we can solve this task. It is giving me error for string comparison

suggestinator.py
def suggest(product_idea):
    if product_idea <=3
    raise ValueError("more than 3 characters are required")
    return product_idea + "inator"

You've got the right idea, but have a few issues:

  • you don't want to test the string itself, but the length of the string
  • an "if" statement must end with a colon (":")
  • the statement(s) controlled by an "if" must be indented more than the "if" itself
