First, you need to fix the task 1 code, see my answer to your other question.

Then, you won't need to know what color will be used in testing. You only need to substitute the stored value by one of several possible methods. One way would be to have the variable as a separate argument, which it looks like you were doing; but the variable name needs to be outside of the quotes: It's also important to use the same capitalization and punctuation as shown in the example:

print("The color", favorite_color, "is a great color!")

I got the first task correct no problem its adding his color to the argument im having trouble with

Your code for the first task isn't correct, you got a "false positive" result because you happened to know what value was being used by the tester. Your code should not have any string constants. Use this link to go see my answer to your previous question regarding task 1.

Task 1 must be coded correctly before my suggestion regarding task 2 will be usefuil.
