HTML Doctype

In the challenge Write an HTML Doctype, I am writing <! DOCTYPE html>. But the challenge gives it wrong. Where am I going wrong?

Just take out the space between the exclamation mark and the DOCTYPE, so...

<!DOCTYPE html>
