I added the same var answer = prompt(" What day is it?");

why does it keep saying error 'you dint put What day is it? ' in the prompt() function

Remove the one empty whitespace character in your prompt's string and it should work.

You have:

var answer = prompt(" What day is it?")

When it should be:

var answer = prompt("What day is it?")
