JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Storing and Tracking Information with Variables Using String Methods

I am a beginner in this, and I am confused

I am a very basic beginner in JS and I just started 2 days ago and I am so, so, so confused. It keeps saying this when I add my code, "It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing" What is wrong!? Here's my code: I NEED HELP

var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase() + "#" + lastName

Very simple solution. You just forgot to uppercase the lastName variable. Should be:

var userName = id.toUpperCase() + "#" + lastName.toUpperCase()

Is that it?
