I am a little stumped on this one. Could i get some help here?

What am i not doing here

Hey Brian! The idea is to make it so that the variable userName = "23188XTR#SMITH". So you should concatenate the "#" and lastName.toUpperCase to the userName variable. Hope this makes sense, please let me know if you want clarification. Something like:

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase();
//concatenate on userName variable
userName += "#";
//also add lastName to userName
userName += lastName.toUpperCase();
