I am always notified about a communication problem. I am in the office yet, maybe i will try doing this again at home.

Maybe I have a slow connection, would that be a reason , that it keeps on telling me about a communication problem?

Hey Garcia.

Indeed, the Communication Errors can throw as a result of a network issue (though not necessarily related to a slow connection). Testing the same Code Challenge from a different network is a great way to try to eliminate network as a possibility of the error. If you need a hand, please email Support at help@teamtreehouse.com

Hi Jay.

I tried it at home and I was able to resume my coding last night. I wonder what is wrong with my office connection. at home my set up is Ubuntu 16.04 and I am running Google chrome. Here in the office I'm using Windows 7 ultimate, running Google chrome.

Hi Garcia,

Unfortunately, what you're experiencing isn't uncommon among students who access us via a work network. There are often firewalls, security, and/or other settings in place that hamper the use of Treehouse. If you check in with your IT department and are able to narrow down what may help enable access and need some additional information from us, please let us know and we'll see if we can get that information to you.

Hi Jay, I am directly connected to a WiFi Router, and we do not have IT department. I can Facebook, Google and YouTube with out a problem and I can watch the video too, the problem is when I get to the part to check my work. The communication problem appears again. What else can we do, I am looking on my chart and I am 2 days behind because of these problem

Hi Garcia,

With you confirming the CCs work from your home network, it does seem the issue lay with the work network. Unfortunately, we don't have any way of knowing enough about it to be able to suggest things you can change within it. Some basic troubleshooting ideas may be to clear your browser's cookies/cache and rebooting your computer and modem/router. If this doesn't help, I may suggest looking into a VPN.
