4,432 PointsI am confused on how to structure this challenge. (JavaScript Basics) The use of concatentation.
It's asking me to create a string using the var id, plus a #, plus the last name.
But, the last name needs to be toUpperCase.
How do I do this?
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = ("23188xtr" ());

Treehouse TeacherThis is the code you're looking for. The key is in the toUpperCase() function and the combining of strings through concatenation. Which just means you take two or more strings and smush them together.
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName =id.toUpperCase() + "#" + lastName.toUpperCase();
