559 PointsI am having issues with the second part. Why does it keep saying task 1 no longer works?
I keep getting part one right and then go to part 2 and it says part one no longer works. I go back to part one and it says for this exercise that whatever change you made in part 2 you put back in part one. I do that and then hit submit for the second part and it keeps not working. What should i do?
var id = "23188xtr".toUpperCase();
var lastName = "#Smith".toUpperCase();
var userName = id + lastname

19,212 PointsLeave the first variables untouched. Instead, use string concatenation on userName to add '#' and lastName:
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = id.toUpperCase() + '#' + lastName.toUpperCase();
