Python Python Basics (2015) Logic in Python Try and Except

I am having trouble solving the third part of this code. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please help.

I re-watched the videos on Try Except and float and I still can't figure it out.

trial.py
def add(x, y):
try:
  return (float(x)+float(y))
except ValueError:
  return None
else:
  return x + y

Hi Maruice,

Your so darn close! You have a few indentation problems, only the def add() should be in the first column.

Here is what it should look like:

def add(x, y):
  try:
    return (float(x)+float(y))
  except ValueError:
    return None
  else:
    return x + y

Thank You!!
