I am not understanding the instructions for the objective 1 on changing the color

The is a message Bummer! Dont forget to add the android textColor to the TextView

activity_main.xml

For this one add a textColor attribute of white and change the background color to black:

    android:textColor="@android:color/white"
    android:background="@android:color/black"
