I am on a challenge Task and I am unable to pass a command

What am I doing wrong? I have to add 5 to $integerOne that has a value of 1. I have this $integerOne = 1 + 5;

index.php
<?php

//Place your code below this comment
$integerOne = ( 5 + 1 );
$integerTwo = ( 2 - 1 );

?>

This challenge is asking you to use a compound assignment operator to add/subtract the values from their respective variables (although, this is really not clear in the question...so I understand your confusion).

So, if the original setup had been "Create a variable named $floatOne and assign the value of 2.5 to it. Then add 4.5 to $floatOne.", your steps would have looked like:

(first part of challenge) $floatOne = 2.5;

(second part of challenge) $floatOne += 4.5;

Hope this helps.
