4,180 PointsI am on new mac doing ruby foundations 2011. It is out of date. Is there anything more up to date for macs beginner ?
The Ruby Foundations course was filmed in 2011. Download instructions are out of date and I am now struggling through the first tutorial and not getting the responses I need. Is there anything more up to date for new mac user? Need basics.

Courses Plus Student 13,560 PointsRuby foundation (if i remember correct) is still mostly in date but things lik the built a simply ruby app is fairly out of date. The way i stay up to date in ruby is by using their web site http://guides.rubyonrails.org/getting_started.html Which is normally a good way. Besides that forum and podcasts.
There are some other out of date course meterial but you can still do them with some googling.
Hope this helps, Kai.
