I am trying to add a hover state to navigation link of color text 32673f. My code is nav a.hover { color: #32673f;}

The code nav a. hover { color: #32673f; } isn't being accepted in the question add a hover state of color #32673f? what gives?

The way you wrote your selector you select a anchor element with the class of hover. To target the hover you should use ':' in stead of '.'
