I am unable to define the "c" variable in my code.

Where would I insert the code for c to equal the remainder of a / b ?

method.rb 
def mod(a, b)
  puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}:"
  return a % b 
  c = a % b
end

mod(5, 2, c)

Hi,

c = 0

def mod(a, b)

puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}:"

c = a % b

return c

end

mod(5, 2)

echo c

Ran that code and it still says that "c" is undefined (NameError). Also ran:

def mod(a, b) puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}:" c = a % b return c end

mod(5,2)

And I get the same error.
