Hello Kaushik,

You do not need to modify the even_odd function. You just need to call the function in your if statement. Below is the code I used to pass the challenge.

import random

start = 5

def even_odd(num):
    # If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
    # Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
    return not num % 2

while start:
    get = random.randint(1, 99)
    if even_odd(get):
        print("{} is even".format(get))
    else:
        print("{} is odd".format(get))
    start -= 1
