I cannot get Android Studio to open.

I cannot get Android Studio to open.

I've downloaded, extracted it, set the variables, etc., and the loading screen comes up, but it never launches.

Hello,

Do you get any error messages at all? Have you tried restarting your machine(easiest way to get rid of all lingering processes on Windows)?

If that doesn't help, let us know and we can look into more troubleshooting steps.
