iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Fundamentals of C Anatomy of a C program

I can't even figure out the first lesson

What am I supposed to do? why are there two places to download files? which one's am I supposed to use? Treehouse is supposed to be slow and easy, but I'm already lost in the first lesson.

You need to download Xcode from the Mac App store first (iOS development is Mac only, so if you dont have a mac you might want to check out the android courses instead). Then download the project templates. The project templates are template xcode projects for writing your C and objective C programs (for the first half of the course you need to use the C template, second half you need to use the objective C template The project files are the completed files for that video. You dont really need to download these unless you just want to see the finished product for that video. You do however need to use the project templates.
