Ruby Ruby Basics (Retired) Ruby Methods Method Returns: Part 2

I can't figure out whats wrong with my answer...

The code works when I test it in Workspaces, and it returns a nice sentence like requested. But when I check my work it says that it's not in a nice sentence. What am I doing wrong?

method.rb
def mod(a, b)
  c = a % b
  puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}."
end

Oh this is the question btw: In the previous challenge, we wrote a method that returned the remainder of two arguments when divided. That's cool, but it would be nicer if the method returned the remainder in a nice full sentence. Use string interpolation to return the remainder inside the sentence β€œThe remainder of a divided by b is c.” where a is your β€œa” variable, b is your β€œb” variable, and c is the value of a % b.

Hi Ferre,

You don't want to output the string using puts you want to return it from the method. You can use the keyword return instead of puts, although Ruby returns the last line evaluated automatically.

Make sense?

Steve.
