JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Working With Numbers The Random Challenge Solution

I can't figure out why my code won't work I even tried debugging in through the console and still nothing.

var input1 = prompt ("Please type a starting number");

var bottomNumber = parseInt(input1);

var input = prompt("Please Type a number");

var topNumber = parseInt(input);

var randomNumber = Math.floor(Math.random() * (topNumber - bottomNumber + 1)) + bottomNumber;

var message = "<p>" + randomNumber + " is a number between 1 " + bottomNumber + " and " + topNumber + ".</p>;

Document.write(message);

You were missing a " in the message variable and document.write is with a small d (not Document.write)

var input1 = prompt ("Please type a starting number");

var bottomNumber = parseInt(input1);

var input = prompt("Please Type a number");

var topNumber = parseInt(input);

var randomNumber = Math.floor(Math.random() * (topNumber - bottomNumber + 1)) + bottomNumber;

var message = "<p>" + randomNumber + " is a number between 1 " + bottomNumber + " and " + topNumber + ".</p>";

document.write(message);

Okay I fixed it but now when I enter the number I get an extra one like this "1 is a number between 1 1 and 3."

I figured it out nevermind! Thanks for the help!
