10,314 PointsI can't figure this out. Please, help!
Challenge: Update the myCourse directive so that it can be attached to the HTML only via an attribute.
It keeps saying there is a SyntaxError, but I can't figure out what I've done wrong.
Thank you!
angular.module('treehouseCourse', [])
.directive('myCourse', function() {
return {
restrict: 'A', link: function ($scope, $element, $attr) { alert('Welcome to my course')
}
});
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html ng-app="treehouseCourse">
<head>
<title>Angular.js</title>
<script src="js/angular.js"></script>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
<div my-course></div>
</body>
</html>

10,418 PointsIt looks like your main error is the use of the $ sign on your link function parameters:
Part 1 is looking for this:
angular.module('treehouseCourse', [])
.directive('myCourse', function() {
return {
restrict: 'A',
}
});
Part 2 looks for this:
angular.module('treehouseCourse', [])
.directive('myCourse', function() {
return {
restrict: 'A',
link: function( scope, element, attr ){alert( 'Welcome to my course' )}
}
});
Hope this clear things up.
