HTML Introduction to HTML and CSS (2016) Make It Beautiful With CSS Test: Styling by Element and Class

I can't give the paragraph a border that is 4px wide, solid and red.

I really have no idea why this does not work

In your html you need to have quotations around the name of the class

<p class="main-pg"> My amazing website</p>

Then in your CSS it should look like this.

.main-pg {
  border:4px solid red;
}
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>
  <body>

    <p class="main-pg">My amazing website</p>

  </body>
</html>

Here: <p class=main-pg> My amazing website</p> the class need to be : <p class="main-pg">
