15,451 PointsI can't open Android Studio
When ever I try to open Android Studio it give me an error code saying "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of the Windows that you're running to see whether you need anx 86 (32- bit) or (x64-bit) version of this program, and them contact the publisher of this program." I was not sure what that meant so I uninstalled everything that I downloaded earlier to see if I missed everything and sure enough I downloaded all of the right file any ideas on how to fix this problem

28,323 PointsI think you might have downloaded a 64bit version on a 32bit computer.

15,451 PointsMy computer is running Windows 7. I have also tried both the 64bit and 32bit versions just to be sure making sure to completely erase the previous version from my computer before installing a new version. If that makes any sense at all. Thank you for the suggestion I will try again my computer is 32bit so I will erase it and try again but I am still open to suggestions. Thank you for previous suggestions and new ones! -Jeremy

It sounds like you're trying to run a 64-bit version of Android Mobile Studio on a 32-bit system.
You can find out if you have a 64-bit or 32-bit system by following these instructions:
Win 7:
Click Start.
Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties. If "x64 Edition" is listed under System, your processor is capable of running a 64-bit version of Windows. If not, you're running a 32-bit system.
Win 8:
Open the Windows 8 Control Panel.
Touch or click on System and Security within Control Panel.
With the System and Security window now open, click or touch System.
With the System applet now open, titled View basic information about your computer, find the System area, located under the large Windows 8 logo.
Note: You won't see a System and Security link in Control Panel if your view is set to either Large icons or Small icons. If so, find System and touch or click on it, then skip to Step 4.

11,674 PointsMy thoughts too, although when I go to the Android Studio page on my windows machine it automatically has me download a single installer.
