Hi Diyan,

Based on the challenge i see that (Relative) layout uses white color as a background from the system which is (@android:color/white) instead of hex color (#ffffffff), so what you can do is copy the system color and use it as background for (Relative) layout and textColor for the (TextView).

The final output would be like this:

  android:layout_width="match_parent"
  android:layout_height="match_parent"
  android:background="@android:color/white" >

  <TextView
    android:id="@+id/textView1"
    android:layout_width="wrap_content"

    android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
    android:layout_centerVertical="true"
    android:text="Treehouse loves me!"
    android:textSize="72sp"
    android:textColor="@android:color/white"/>

</RelativeLayout>
