8,473 PointsI can't seem to find a compiler for OS X Yosemite for my Mac. I tried GCC-7 and I got a message it will work with Lion.
Is there a compiler out there I can use? I've never dealt with a compiler program before so I'm not sure exactly where I should be searching. Thanks!

and see if this works. If it starts a different type of terminal and you can write Ruby commands there, you have Ruby on your system and can ignore the whole installation guide. RVM will be useful only if you want multiple versions of Ruby installed (this is often needed when you develop in Rails).
