Python Object-Oriented Python Instant Objects __init__

I can't seem to get the setattr method to work. What's going on?

From examples that I am finding this looks like it is set up right but python still isn't happy with the code. What am I missing?

first_class.py
class Student:
    name = "Jake"
    def __init__(self, name **kwargs):
        self.name = name
        for gender, age in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, gender, age)

    def praise(self):
        return "You inspire me, {}".format(self.name)

    def reassurance(self):
        return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)

    def feedback(self, grade):
        if grade > 50:
            return self.praise()
        return self.reassurance()

Jake Williams , you are SO close. Add the missing comma after the name parameter.

Post back if you need more help. Good luck!!!

Yup this is usually how it goes for me. One little thing that doesn't make it happy. Thanks Chris.

I usually toss code-under-test into a file and run it to find simple syntax issues. Smaller snippets can be run in the REPL.
