grocery_item.has_value?("Bread")
grocery_item = { "item" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "brand" => "Treehouse Bread Company" }
if grocery_item.has_value?("Bread")

reassigned an entire new Hash to grocery_item; what you should do instead is just add a new key-value pair to grocery_item.
if grocery_item.has_value?("Bread")
grocery_item["food"] = true
end
