I created my div tag in html and used the main.css style sheet to style the div but it is not working at all. The #wrapper is highlighted red on the style sheet and the wrapper is not centering the images or doing anything that I put in the rule. I have watched the tutorial 3 times. here is my html:

Hi Monica,

There are a couple errors in your code:

1. In your HTML, all of your alt attributes (including the 2 in your footer) are missing the equal sign =. They should be alt="". 2. In your CSS file, there is a missing closing curly brace } for your a declaration.

Fix those up and it should work.

Keep Coding! :)

thank you so much!

Hi Monica,

In addition to what Jason said above, you will want to put a ; after the word orange in your main.css instead of a :

However missing curly braces are the usually the most common reasons the code won't work. It's happened to me several times.

Cheers! :)

Thank you so much! It is amazing how one little thing can make a website not function.
